I was drawn to Tooele due to the fact that it is a diverse community with a tremendous opportunity for growth. I am a secondary teacher and a coach that appreciates the fact that Tooele County School District is aggressively tackling the problems associated with overcrowding by building a new high school in Stansbury which is set to open in 2009, and making plans to build more high schools as the need increases.

There are many reasons why I chose Tooele to begin my teaching career. There are many other reasons why I plan to stay... I plan to stay because of the strong and friendly relationships I have made with some of my colleagues. Every time I walk out of my classroom my view is obstructed by beautiful snow capped mountains.
